Adriana Santos Melgarejo has a degree in musicology and a master’s degree in information and communication from Universidad de la República of Uruguay. She works as academic assistant in ANEP (National Administration of Public Education) of Uruguay. She has previously worked as a musicologist advisor for the board of directors of SODRE, academic assistant of the Direction of the University School of Music, programmer of Classical Radio, teacher of Secondary Media Education and intern in the Center of Documentation of Music and Dance (INAEM, Spain).
